Will I leave an alcoholic husband after 33 years of marriage?
living with an alcoholic husband June 29th, 2009Am tired of living with an alcoholic after 33 years of bondage. I felt total wreckage of my life especially when our children have left the house one by one. I want to escape but I don’t want to leave my work with the government.
why would you have to leave your work because you divorce your husband. Sounds like a poor excuse to stay.

I have been living with an alcoholic husband for 16 years who is verbally abusive and gets very angered and sometimes does scarey things. Up until recently it only involved me, but the last incident involved my 3 children and I no longer want to stay married to him.
NOTHING should have to hold anyone back from living like this!
I am almost 40 years old and I want to live a happy life not live in fear every time he opens a bottle of beer.
Live for yourself and get out of the situation, that is what I have decided to do after 3-5 years of contemplating it.
